EveryMatrix UK Operating License Suspended By UKGC

EveryMatrix loses UKGC License

EveryMatrix has had its operating license suspended by the United Kingdom Gambling Commission (UKGC). The Commission issued the suspension to take effect immediately and also indicated that there would be a formal review into the online iGaming software provider. They said the decision was based on compliance activity and would include an examination of EveryMatrix’s customer interaction processes and procedures.

The UKGC also made clear the fact that this suspension does not affect other areas of EveryMatrix’s business activities such as manufacturing, supplying, installing, or adapting gambling software. The company will be allowed to continue with those activities as things stand right now.

The UK’s regulating body didn’t give any specific details about exactly what compliance activity they were interested in. The Commission simply cited section 118(2) of the Gambling Act of 2005. Therein, it states that the UKGC has the authority to suspend a certificate and investigate a business if there are suspicions that certain conditions exist.

The conditions themselves are still quite vague but include:

  • A licensee failing to cooperate with a review
  • A licensee being deemed unsuitable to carry on licensed activities
  • Any condition of a license being breached

No further details were given but the Commission did state that the company will have permission to settle any ante-post wagers that were placed before the suspension. They will also be able to facilitate access to player accounts so that customers can withdraw their funds. So what to do? First of all, withdraw your casino funds and then, start your search for a new online casino accepting UK players.

No UK Bets Will Be Accepted

The company has confirmed that, as a result of the license suspension, no gambling activity will be accepted from customers in Great Britain on any of their online casinos until further notice. Their sites include Bookee.co.uk, Pwrbet.com, Fantasino.com, Playfrank.com, Sportingindex.com, Westcasino.com, Dragonaraonline.com, Jetbull.com, Mrwin.com, and Casinomulti.com.

EveryMatrix released a statement regarding the license suspensions which reads, in part, “During this period EveryMatrix will continue to deliver a fair and safe experience to its players. All players will be able to access their accounts and withdraw any funds held in it at any time. Ante-post bets will be honoured, so if you have placed bets on future events these will be paid out as usual if they become winning bets.”

Those with questions about the license suspension or their player accounts are advised to contact the company directly for more information.
