NetEnt has announced their expansion into two new regulated markets, adding to the already impressive list of jurisdictions where NetEnt’s award-winning gaming offerings are available.
On September 19 the company announced that they have applied for a license in the US state of Pennsylvania, which would give them a second point of presence in the country. NetEnt games are already licensed and live in the state of New Jersey.
The Pennsylvania state legislature approved a bill to allow and regulate online gambling in October 2017. Approval from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) (which is expected) would enable NetEnt to deliver their full portfolio of games for Pennsylvania casinos’ online gaming operations.
Erik Nyman, Managing Director of NetEnt Americas, said, “We are excited to continue our strategic expansion in the US. We have enjoyed success in New Jersey and believe that this will continue in Pennsylvania. We will launch with a mix of our table games, video slots, jackpot games and unique features like free spins that have been greatly appreciated by our customers and their players. Our ambition is to be live in Pennsylvania as soon as the market opens.”
Following up on September 25, NetEnt announced that their portfolio of games is now available in Lithuania through their first client, TOP sport.
TOP sport is the first and largest betting company in Lithuania. The company started in 2002 and has since grown to provide betting shops in 31 towns throughout the country, 85 betting locations, and 28 TOP sport casino slot machine venues. More information about TOP sport can be found on their website.
